Keep It Clean People!
Billions of households around the world are unified by a common theme – pet ownership. Sharing your home with a pet is a common language that cuts across country and culture. Just thinking about all of these fur babies reminds me of just how overwhelming it can be to keep a home clean with all of that fur, dander and tracked in dirt. In addition to great tips for keeping your home clean and a few dog-training do’s in the article, don’t forget pets don't need an all-access pass to your home. Many pets feel safer and more comfortable with fewer rooms to roam. Playpens and baby gates can help section off parts of your home and you can create easy to clean spaces that are pet friendly and pet safe.
The responsibility and work of owning a well-behaved dog may be great, but the health and emotional rewards are nearly immeasurable. George O’Malley, our beloved German Shepherd mix, brings joy, laughter, exercise and hope into our home on a daily basis.
